WIF Board of Directors Elected

The Media Access Awards, which honor disability representation and authentic filmmaking in media, have officially rebranded as The Easterseals Disability Arts & Culture Awards (the Darcys). The initiative is spearheaded by Easterseals Disability Services and leaders from the disability community

Actress and producer Tessa Thompson, actress and director Katie Aselton, film producer Amy Baer and television writer, producer and showrunner Raamla Mohamed Hunter have been elected to Women In Film, Los Angeles’ (WIF) 2026 Board of Directors. The cohort will work alongside WIF CEO Kirsten Schaffer
